iSpyCyber provides CMMI readiness, gap assessment, process implementation, coaching and mock appraisals. Benchmark appraisals and maturity level ratings are conducted only by lead appraisers certified by CMMI Institute.
CMMI readiness for delivery organisations in every industry
The basics
Does iSpyCyber conduct CMMI appraisals or award maturity levels?
No. Maturity level ratings come only from a benchmark appraisal led by a lead appraiser certified by CMMI Institute, and results are recorded by CMMI Institute. iSpyCyber prepares you for that appraisal through gap assessment, process definition, deployment, coaching and mock appraisals, and supports you while it takes place.
What is the difference between CMMI Level 3 and Level 5?
Level 3 means the organisation uses defined, tailored standard processes across projects. Level 5 builds on this with quantitative and statistical management of performance, and continual improvement driven by causal analysis and data.
Which CMMI version do you work with?
We work with the current CMMI V2.x model and its later updates. We confirm the model version, view and practice areas with your chosen lead appraiser during planning.
Does CMMI work with agile delivery?
Yes. The model describes what good practice achieves, not how to do it. We map your agile ceremonies, tools and pipelines to the practices and fill only the genuine gaps.
Working with us
How long does it take to reach CMMI Level 3?
It depends on your starting point and size. Many organisations need six to twelve months to define processes, deploy them and build enough evidence from real projects. Level 5 usually takes longer because it requires stable performance data.
Can you help us choose a lead appraiser?
Yes. We help you plan timing, scope and sampling with a certified lead appraiser of your choice. The lead appraiser remains independent and makes the rating decision.
