Attacker-Led Testing of the Networks and Systems Your Business Depends On
iSpyCyber combines expert manual penetration testing with targeted automation to uncover exploitable weaknesses across your external perimeter, internal networks, Active Directory, wireless and network devices. Every finding is validated, risk-rated and delivered with remediation guidance your infrastructure teams can act on immediately.
Why organisations choose iSpyCyber
Attack-path depth
We chain individual weaknesses into realistic routes from the internet or a single foothold to your most critical systems.
Active Directory expertise
Kerberos, delegation, ACL and certificate services weaknesses tested the way modern attackers abuse them.
Near-zero noise
Scanner output is triaged and reproduced by hand, so your team only receives real, exploitable issues.
Practical fixes
Clear, prioritised remediation for systems, directory services and network devices, with quick wins identified first.
Safe for production
Agreed rules of engagement, test windows and exclusions protect business-critical services.
Continuous validation
Retesting confirms every fix, and iefyx, our AI-native VAPT and CTEM platform, keeps exposure visible between engagements.
Coverage
What We Test in Your Network and Infrastructure
Our testers cover the full infrastructure attack surface and go beyond checklists, chaining weaknesses the way real attackers do.
External perimeter
Internet-facing hosts, VPNs, remote access, mail and web services, and exposed management interfaces.
Internal network
Host discovery, vulnerable services, legacy protocols, credential exposure and lateral movement.
Active Directory
Kerberoasting, delegation abuse, ACL misconfigurations, AD CS weaknesses and paths to domain admin.
Wireless networks
WPA2 and WPA3 configuration, enterprise authentication, rogue and evil twin access points, and guest isolation.
Segmentation
Validation that sensitive zones such as cardholder, OT and management networks are truly isolated.
Servers and endpoints
Operating system hardening, patch levels, local privilege escalation and endpoint protection bypass.
Network devices
Routers, switches, firewalls and load balancers checked for weak configuration, default credentials and outdated firmware.
Credentials and authentication
Password policy, credential reuse, NTLM relay, poisoning attacks and privileged account hygiene.
Remote access and VPN
VPN gateways, jump hosts, remote desktop and third-party access paths into your environment.

Effort distribution
Where the assessment time goes
Most of every engagement is spent on hands-on discovery, exploitation and lateral movement by skilled testers, not on running scanners. Percentages are indicative for a typical internal test.
Quality built into every phase
Every finding reproduced
Nothing is reported until a tester has reproduced it by hand.
Risk rated in context
CVSS scores adjusted for your systems and exposure.
Agreed rules of engagement
Test windows and exclusions protect live services.
Closure confirmed
Retesting proves each fix actually works.
Engagement models
Choose the Testing Approach That Fits Your Risk
Every approach uses the same methodology. The difference is where our testers start and how much context they have.
External test
No prior access, simulating an internet attacker against your perimeter, remote access and exposed services. Best for validating what anyone online can reach.
Internal test
A standard network connection inside your environment, simulating a malicious insider or compromised device. Best for testing lateral movement and Active Directory.
Assumed breach
A standard domain user account and workstation as the starting point. Best for measuring how quickly a single compromised account could reach critical systems.
Not sure which approach you need?
Our specialists will recommend a scope based on your network architecture, sites and compliance obligations.
Deliverables
Reports Built for Leadership, Engineering and Auditors
Clear business context for decision-makers, precise technical detail for infrastructure teams and evidence your auditors can rely on.
Executive summary
Overall risk posture, key themes and business impact in plain language for leadership and boards.
Technical findings
Every vulnerability with CVSS rating, affected hosts, reproduction steps and supporting evidence.
Remediation roadmap
Prioritised fixes and attack-path diagrams so teams resolve the highest-impact issues first.
Retest report
Independent confirmation of which findings are closed, ready to share with customers and auditors.

The basics
What is network and infrastructure security testing?
It is a structured assessment, led by skilled testers, that identifies and safely exploits weaknesses in your external perimeter, internal networks, directory services, wireless and network devices, then explains the business impact and how to fix each issue.
What is the difference between external and internal testing?
External testing looks at what an attacker on the internet can reach. Internal testing assumes an attacker already has a foothold inside your network and measures how far they could move and what they could access.
Does this include segmentation testing for PCI DSS?
Yes. We can validate that your cardholder data environment and other sensitive zones are isolated as required by PCI DSS.
Working with us
How long does a network penetration test take?
Most engagements take one to three weeks, depending on the number of IP addresses, sites and systems in scope. We confirm the timeline during scoping.
Can you test remotely?
Yes. External tests are always remote, and internal tests can be delivered through a secure VPN or a small testing appliance, or on site where required.
Will testing disrupt our network?
We agree rules of engagement, test windows and exclusions before testing begins, and avoid denial-of-service techniques against production systems.
Do you retest after we fix the issues?
Yes. We retest remediated findings and issue an updated report confirming which issues are closed.
